Retired US Army Leader Joe Buccino

Based in Tampa, Florida, Joe Buccino spent nearly 30 years with the United States Army. He retired as a communication director with US Central Command at the MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. Joe Buccino managed a regional military defense network comprising various parties, ranging from senior US leadership to media groups such as The New York Times and The Washington Post. He also developed media campaigns, external and internal communications strategies, and all Department of Defense operations in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Moreover, Joe Buccino earned numerous awards during his career, including three Bronze Star Medals, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. He retired with the Legion of Merit. He has authored fiction books and has produced and performed one-man theater as a Shakespearean-trained actor.

Joe Buccino is a distinguished honor graduate of the Army War College in Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. He earned an English degree from the State University of New York in Albany and a master's degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
